Faith E. Mitchell

Faith E. Mitchell, 89, a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center for the past six weeks, died on Sunday, January 29, 2012. She was born May 14, 1922, in Tomahawk, WI, the daughter of Vern and Lillian Brown Drexel. She married Lester Spencer and he preceded her in death. She later married John Mitchell in Elgin, IL on April 6, 1963. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1990. She and John formerly owned and operated the Hurricane Restaurant in North Fond du Lac. Faith was also employed by Lamb's Restaurant and the Modern Restaurant of Fond du Lac. She later was employed by the maintenance department of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She is survived by a daughter, Lillian Liebert of Fond du Lac, a grandson, Michael (Ann) Liebert of Fond du Lac, and two great-grandsons, Zachery and Alexander Liebert, all of Fond du Lac. Further surviving is a brother, William "Bill" (Elizabeth) Drexel of St. Cloud, a sister, Jean (Richard) Drexel-Gerber of Sheboygan Falls, two step-sons, Richard (Lorraine) Mitchell and Tom (Therese) Mitchell, both of Fond du Lac, three step-daughters, Joan (Terry) Collien of Brownsville, Mary Lou (Robert) England of North Fond du Lac, and Shirley (Fred) Willis of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and two brothers, Harry and Vern Drexel.



Visitation for Faith E. Mitchell will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 9 to 11 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Jeremy Thompson will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
