Fay R. James

Fay R. James, 77, of Eden, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. He was born January 31, 1932 in Oxford, WI, the son of Owen and Lucenia Will James. Fay was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. On October 23, 1982 he married Lori L. Rhoades at Church of Peace, Fond du Lac. Fay worked for Wells Manufacturing retiring in 1984. He enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, gambling, fishing, taking long car rides and spending time with family. Fay was a very generous, fun and enjoyable person. SURVIVORS: his wife, Lori; seven children, Michael (Barb) James, Rosendale, Judy James, Oshkosh, Susan (Joe) Kiester Jaeger, Apple Valley, MN, Margie James, Ripon, Sharon (Tom) Norton, Fond du Lac, Roger James, Eden, April James, Fond du Lac; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte (Dennis) Juliar, Seymour, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Theresa Ropella; four children, Roger, Thomas, Owen and Sally; two grandchildren, Kelly Norton and James Bleuel; one step son, David Buechel, Jr.; a sister and brothers.



VISITATION: will be from 9 - 11 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Burial will take place in Estabrooks Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the family.The family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital for their care of Fay.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
