Florence C. Riedel

Florence C. Riedel, age 93, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, October 04, 2016, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on May 26, 1923, in Taycheedah, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Wimmler) Krug. On September 26, 1942 she married Edward C. Riedel. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1971. Florence worked at Wells Manufacturing for many years until retiring in 1985. She was a devout member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac.



Survivors include one daughter, Judith Richardson of Oshkosh; one son, Donald Riedel of Oshkosh; one grandson, Jeff Richardson of Oshkosh; four great-granddaughters; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Riedel; one infant grandson; two brothers; and two sisters.



Visitation will take place on Friday, October 7, 2016, from 10-11 A.M. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow at the church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
