Mrs. Florence C. Schellinger, 78, of 154 S. Pioneer Parkway, died Monday, February 13, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 19, 1927, in Waupaca, the daughter of Charles H. and Emma M. Peterson Baker. On October 14, 1950, she married Warren J. Schellinger in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1994. Mrs. Schellinger was a member of Grace Reformed Church. She was formerly employed as secretary to the Director of Fond du Lac County Social Services, retiring in 1986 after over 30 years of service. Florence was a graduate of Waupun High School and later from the Fond du Lac Commercial College. Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie (Danny) Springborn of Fond du Lac, two granddaughters, Kelli Bliskey of Washington State and Tracy (Fiancé' Dan Roggentine) Springborn of Fond du Lac, two grandsons, Kent (Special Friend Becky) Bliskey and Robert (Mara) Springborn, both of Fond du Lac, and two great-grandchildren, Brayden Springborn and Brooke Bliskey. Her parents, husband, a daughter, Doreen O'Neill, a son, Mark Schellinger, two sisters, Alice Whiting and Frances Vermeer, and a brother, Neil Baker, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Florence C. Schellinger will be on Thursday, February 16, 2006, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and on Friday, February 17, 2006, from 10 to 11 am at Grace Reformed Church. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11 am at the church. Rev. Barry Vegter will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
