Florence M. Mensch

Florence M. Mensch, age 81, formerly of 563 Western Ave, Fond du Lac, and a resident of Harbor Suites since 2001 died Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on February 1, 1925 in Glenbeulah, the daughter of Leo and Bertha Wagner Schneider. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School Class of 1943. On June 19, 1948 she married Arvin G. Mensch at St. Patrick's Church, Fond du Lac. She was a longtime employee of Berger's Womens Apparel and Waubun Girl Scouts. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and helped with Meals on Wheels. SURVIVORS: two sons, David (Cathy) Mensch of Chilton, Joel Mensch of Madison, seven grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany), Adam (Maggie), Stephanie, Lindsey, Rebecca, Kris (Randy) Maurer, Kerry (Sean) Kollmann, eight great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, Doris Simonson of Milwaukee, Barbara Miske of Elkhart Lake, Clarence Schneider of New Smyrna, FL, Donald Schneider of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arvin, two brothers, Lloyd and Jerry.



VISITATION: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 5:00 to 5:30 P.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. FUNERAL: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 5:30 P.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church with the Reverend Jim Jaeger officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment to take place at Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
