Floribel E. Meixensperger

Floribel E. Meixensperger, age 97, a resident of 510 E. 9th St. Fond du Lac, until a year ago, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Willow Park in New Holstein. She was born on April 9, 1918 in Empire, WI, the daughter of Harry and Fannie Noble. Floribel worked as a nursing assistant at St. Agnes Hospital for twenty-three years, retiring in 1984.



She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, golfing, knitting, and visits from her grandchildren. She was a loving and thoughtful mother and grandmother, acknowledging all birthdays and special events, well into her 90’s. She was a long time member of Holy Family (St. Joseph’s Church).



Floribel is survived by one son, David Ditter (Judy) of New Holstein; one step-daughter, Mary Ellen Rademann of Fond du Lac; six grandsons, John Moerchen (Michelle) of Fond du Lac, Edward Moerchen (Sharon) of Wautoma, Robert Moerchen (Sheli) of Sheboygan, Jeffrey Ditter (Lexi) of Austin, TX, Thomas Ditter (Beth) of Las Vegas, NV, and Michael Ditter of New Holstein; two step-grandchildren, Tracy (Junior) Gundert of Beaver Dam and Troy (Tammy) Rademann of Fond du Lac; ten great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters in law, Mary Meixensperger, Mary Agnes Foster, and Margaret (Bob) Bartz, and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special neighbors and friends, Pat and Randy Drew and Tom Cahill.



In addition to her parents, Floribel was preceded in death by three husbands, John Ditter, Edward Mangan, and Alphonse Meixensperger; a daughter, Alice Ditter Moerchen; a brother, Charles Noble; a step-daughter, Joanne Meixensperger, and many in-laws.



VISITATION: Friday, October 23, 2015 from 9:30-11:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
