Floyd C. Duncan

Floyd C. Duncan, Sr., 89, formerly of Maria Lane, and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past two years, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the nursing home. He was born October 10, 1921 in Albion, WI, the son of Delbert and Clara (Coon) Duncan. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Air Force for 3 ½ years. On December 19, 1943 he married Geraldine R. Glasser in Fond du Lac. Geraldine preceded him in death on June 1, 1978. Floyd worked for Wisconsin Power & Light for 31 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Unit 1602 Petenwell C.C.C. He enjoyed hiking, biking, camping, and traveling across the United States. SURVIVORS: include four children Merle (Richard) Malloy, Oshkosh, Sharon Wolf, Fond du Lac, Floyd C. (Sue) Duncan Jr., Evansville, WI, Diane Duncan, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren Steve (Lynette) Malloy, Lori (Angelo) Fierro, Jason (Jody) Duncan, Tami Braun, twelve great-grandchildren, and one sister, Delores Weinberger, Mayville. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers Stanley and Claude Duncan, and two grandchildren Thomas Wolf and Andrew Malloy.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, March 14, 2011, from 4-8 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral home and also on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of services. FUNERAL: Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Dean Desilet officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
