Frances E. Kaufman

Frances E. Kaufman, 89, formerly of 299 Fourth Street, and currently a resident of St. Francis Home, died Tuesday, May 03, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born May 13, 1921, in Warrington, England where she met her husband Richard. They were married November 9, 1946, at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1990. Frances was a member of Holy Family Parish. Surviving are three daughters, Jane (John P.) McGovern of Fond du Lac, Christine Corlett of Richfield, MN, and Rita (Warren) Tinberg, Jr. of Mt. Calvary, two grandchildren, Brian McGovern and Maureen (John) Petersen, seven great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Robert (Ellen) Kaufman of Kalamazoo, MI, three nieces, Marianne Lizza-Irwin of Golden, CO, Julie Kaufman of Kalamazoo, MI, and Carol Kaufman of Denver, CO. Her parents, her husband Richard, and a brother-in-law, Howard Kaufman, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Frances E. Kaufman will be on Friday, May 6, 2011, from 9 to 10:30 AM at St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
