Frances F. Hawes, 94, formerly of 139 W. 2nd Street, died Thursday, December 29, 2005, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She was born April 1, 1911, in Maynard, Ohio, the daughter of Michael and Eleanor Bistry. On January 1, 1944, she married Lloyd M. Hawes in Schiller Park, IL. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1982. Frances was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Patrick's Church. Prior to her marriage, she was employed by the Soo Line Railroad as a clerk in Schiller Park. She was a member of Eagles Aerie #270 Auxiliary, where she was a past President and a member of the Hall of Fame. Surviving is a son, Lloyd "Duke" (Judith "Judy") Hawes of Muskego, WI, three grandchildren, Michael Lloyd (Stephanie) Hawes of Brown Deer, WI, Brian Patrick (Fiancé' Jenny) Hawes of Milwaukee, Michelle Cherie' (Enrico) Scarpace of Muskego, and two step great-grandchildren, Kayla and Nicko of Muskego. Her parents, husband, a daughter, Chera Anne Hawes, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Frances F. Hawes will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at 10 am from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. The Rev. John Radetski will officiate and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mrs. Hawes' name.
