Frances J. Eleos

Frances J. Eleos, 92, formerly of North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Maple Meadows in Fond du Lac. She was born August 14, 1930 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Kasimer and Josephine (Fredar) Woicek. On September 10, 1955 she married Constantine N. Eleos at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac where she was a lifelong member. Nick preceded her in death on November 9, 2020.

Fran was an avid reader, enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning, and especially loved her flower beds, and her many beloved cats over the years. The home she lived in, her dad built and she lived there her entire life. She loved cooking and had many recipes she would make and loved cooking for family during the holidays. Nick and Fran enjoyed tent camping in their younger years at many State Parks. Fran like politics and was a lifelong Democrat and never missed voting. Fran was a loving mother and had a good long life until dementia robbed her of many good memories.

She is survived by her loving son, Mark N. (Christine) Eleos of Fond du Lac; brother, Joseph (Maryanne) Woicek of North Fond du Lac; nephews, Jeffrey Woicek and Michael Woicek both of Fond du Lac; niece, Ann (Eric) Larsen of Eau Claire; sister-in-law, Catherine Eleos of Fond du Lac; special friends, Dave and Nancy Schumacher; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Nick; and in-laws, Nick and Eunice Eleos.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
