Frances L. Kester

Frances L. Kester, age 93, formerly of Beaver Dam, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on July 2, 1913 in Moundville, WI the daughter of Lyman and Katherine Russell. On June 1, 1935 she married John R. Kester in Moundville. He preceded her in death in 1973. Frances was an excellent seamstress. She loved to bake and she enjoyed ceramics and crafts. She also enjoyed reading, cards, and spending time with her grandchildren. Frances was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: three sons, Richard (Marion) Kester of Fond du Lac, John Kester of Spokane, WA, Douglas (Carol) Kester of Salem, WI, sister, Janice Gosse of Port Washington, eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, her husband, two brothers, Gaylord and Norman, and one sister, Elizabeth Conway preceded her in death.



VISITATION: Saturday, March 17, 2007 from 1:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at Ascension Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at Ascension Lutheran Church with the Reverend Jeff Blain officiating. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens, Highway 151 south of Waupun. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
