Francis F. Fuchs

Francis F. Fuchs, 69, of North Fond du Lac, died Monday, September 24, 2012, at Manor Care Health Services. He was born February 3, 1943, in Milwaukee, the son of John and Mary Pep Fuchs. He attended high school in Milwaukee and later joined the US Army. He was formerly employed by Kerney & Trecker Corporation of Milwaukee before moving to Fond du Lac in the 1980's where he worked for Giddings & Lewis for 35 years, retiring in 2011. In 1989, he married Mary Ann(Knoebel) in Milwaukee. Surviving is his wife, two daughters, Lorraine (Gerd) Boettcher of Rhein, Germany, and Patti (Todd Cormican) Cresco of Franklin, a son, Frank Fuchs of Milwaukee, five grandchildren, a brother, Edward (Gloria) Fuchs of Knoxville, TN, a step-daughter, Jolene (Andy) Eyrise of Pewaukee, a step-son, John Ladwig of New Berlin, and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a step-son.



Visitation for Francis F. Fuchs will be on Friday, September 28, 2012, from 4 to 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac.
