Frank E. Bowe

FRANK F. BOWEFrank F. Bowe, age 90, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 peacefully at St. Francis Home with his family by his side. He was born on October 13, 1914 in Fond du Lac the son of Frank A. and Martha Lange Bowe. On March 17, 1936 he married Paula Jaeger at St. Louis Church in Fond du Lac. He worked as a computer programmer at Giddings & Lewis for twenty-five years retiring in 1977. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #664 and a past Grand Knight. Frank was a past president of Holy Name Society for St. Mary's. After retirement Frank was a retirement community assistant manager in California. He enjoyed building homes and woodworking. He was an avid reader and card player, and he loved to dance, bowl, and play golf.SURVIVORS: his loving wife of sixty-nine years Paula of Fond du Lac, his five cherished daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Ridley of Eau Claire, Betty (Tony) Cobb of Cincinnati, OH, Brenda Bowe of Milwaukee, Sheila (Les) Pottern of Denver, CO, Marsha (Mike) Reilley of Fond du Lac, thirteen grandchildren, Lori, Mary, Judy, Lisa, Dan, Susan, Amy, Jennifer, Michael, Stacy, Eric, Shawna, and Casey, eighteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Doug.



VISITATION: Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 12 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the St. Francis Home Chapel. FUNERAL: Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the St. Francis Home Chapel with Fr. Joachim Strupp O.F.M. CAP officiating. Cremation has taken place.Gratitude to the staff of St. Francis Home for their loving care.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
