Fred J. Wojkiewicz Sr., age 67, of 52 Doty St., Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1936 in Shawano the son of John and Mabel Martin Wojkiewicz. On January 19, 1957 he married Myrene Tuxhorn at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on October 13, 1999. Fred worked for nineteen years as a crane operator at Sadoff Iron and Metal. He enjoyed repairing and working on cars, being out tinkering in the garage, hunting with his children, and gardening. He loved his kids and his family very much and was a very loving man. SURVIVORS: twelve children, including six daughters, Sharon (John) Sanderson of Fond du Lac, Sarah (Kevin) Greeno of Fond du Lac, Candace (Mike) Buechel of Fond du Lac, Tina (fiancé Jerome Albrecht) of Fond du Lac, Betty (Thomas) Abitz of Fond du Lac, Rachel (special friend Tim Lee) of Fond du Lac, six sons, Fred Jr. (Jill) of Plymouth, Ronald (Connie) of North Fond du Lac, John (Cathy) of Fond du Lac, Leonard (special friend Erin O'Malley) of Fond du Lac, Anthony of Fond du Lac, James (fiancé Cena Ohlrich) of Fond du Lac, twenty seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two brothers, John (Judy) Wojkiewicz, Don (Inga) Wojkiewicz, sister, Alice (Dick) Foster, mother in law, Hazel Tuxhorn, brother in law, Lee (Gladys) Tuxhorn, and sister in law, Maxine Knaak., many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Myrene, infant daughter, and one brother, Raymond.
VISITATION: Saturday, May 1, 2004 from 9-11 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Weikel officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
