Freddie W. Fisch, 86 formerly of 265 East 15th Street, and a resident of Continental Manor, Randolph, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun. He was born in Marshall, WI on May 7, 1926 the son of Emil and Helena Busse Fisch. On February 25, 1956 he married Iona Stark at Marshall. Iona preceded him in death on August 8, 2003. Freddie was a gunner in the 2nd Armored Division serving in the Korean War. He worked at Mercury Marine in the maintenance department from August 19, 1969 to January 1, 1989 when he retired. After his retirement Freddie had a paper route for the Fond du Lac Reporter for over 10 years. He was past member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie No. 270. Freddie enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, bowling, wrestling and horseshoes.SURVIVORS: Freddie is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Scott) Tappendorf, Green Lake, Elizabeth (Jay) Vande Streek, Oshkosh, Deborah (Edward) Sabel,Brownsville. seven grand- children, Rebecca, Julie (fiancé Scott Schoff) Sabel, Daniel Sabel, Benjamin and Morgan Broenniman, Annie and Kyle Tappendorf, three great-grandchildren, Hanna and Tyler Sabel, and Kassidi Schoff. Freddie is further survived by two sisters, Lucille Rice, Deer Brook, WI and Elizabeth Cooper, Fort Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother and several sisters.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4 to 7:30 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is im charge of arrangements.
