Frederick G. Turnes

Frederick G. Turnes, 66, of Fond du Lac, Monday, November 23, 2009 at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born January 20, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frederick J. and Eva M. Beltezore Turnes. On June 12, 1964 he married Betty J. Huizenga in Lansing, IL and she preceded him in death on November 11, 2006. Frederick worked for Ford Motor Company, Chicago, IL, Glenwood Public Works, Glenwood, IL, Action Advertiser and Serigraph. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren.SURVIVORS: April (Glenn) Ebert, Campbellsport, John (Jody) Turnes, Waupun, Craig (Tammy) Turnes, Fond du Lac, Fred Turnes, Fond du Lac: eleven grandchildren, Kevin, Shane, Kyle, and Kelsea Ebert, Shawn, Justin, Brady, EvaJo, Ryer Turnes, Hunter and Dakota Turnes; and expecting a great grandchild in January. He is further survived by one sister, Suzanne Turnes, Hammond, IN; one brother, Mike (Joni) Turnes, Hammond, IN; one brother-in-law, Gerrit (Mae) Huizenga, Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty; one brother, Randy Turnes.



VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Rosenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
