Frederick V. Schneider, age 75, of Eldorado, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 28, 1936 in Mt. Calvary, the son of Emmanuel and Pauline (Casper) Schneider. Fred served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1954-58. He worked at Mercury Marine from 1959 until retiring in 2001. He married Jean Willie in January of 1963. He later married Irene Ritger Kauper in June of 2001. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, he loved casinos, tinkering and repairing things, feeding birds, collections, movies, reading. Fred previously was on various leagues in the city for pool, bowling, and darts. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #270, Bintzler-Waehler American Legion Post #347 in Lomira, and a member of Knights of Columbus Council #664.SURVIVORS: his wife Irene, two sons, Steve (Linda) Schneider, Mike (Peggy) Schneider, four grandchildren, Zachary, Michala, Molly, and Kelly, his siblings, Conrad (Joyce) Schneider, Marie Wellnitz, Bernice Huck, Roger (Marie) Schneider, Dolores Schneider, Lucy (Terry) Burnette, Bob (Annie) Guse, brother in law, Ames Deaver, brothers in law and sisters in law, Kathleen (Robert) Wallace, Russell Ritger, Tom G.(Cherie) Ritger, Janet (special friend Ricky Bell) Miller, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Victor in 1978, brothers, Reuben, Servatious, and Robert Schneider, sister, Veronica Deaver, his father and mother in law, Raymond and Rita Ritger.



VISITATION: Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 9-11 A.M. at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, W8272 Forest Avenue Road, Town of Woodhull. FUNERAL: Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
