Frieda Jaber

Frieda Jaber, 86, formerly of 602 Western Avenue, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 19, 1918, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Marker Miller. On February 18, 1942, she married Alfred J. "Fritz" Jaber in Reno, NV. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2003. Mrs. Jaber was a member of the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ, was a past President of the church council, and sang in the church choir for many years. Frieda was a member of the Martha Society and the Phoenician Daughters. She was formerly employed in the children's department in the Fond du Lac Store and Brauers.Surviving is a son Michael (Judy) Jaber of Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Leslie (Kevin) Wilson of Elizabeth, CO, Dean (Carie) Jaber of Fond du Lac, and T.J. (Kevin) Twohig of Fond du Lac, two step-grandsons, Michael (Alisha) Schuettpelz of Easton, MD and Tom (Erin) Schuettpelz of Durham, NC, six great-grandchildren, Breanne, Drew, and Eli Wilson, Ali and Ella Jaber, and Ryan Twohig. She is further survived by a sister, Ruth (Bob) Huddleston of Kansas City, Kansas, a brother Eugene (Irene) Miller of Tallahassee, FL, three sisters-in-law, Adele Gielow of Fond du Lac, Del Miller of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Leona Miller of Overland Park, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, a son, Terrence, four brothers, Henry, Carl, Alex, and Ralph Miller, a sister, Lydia Stoehr, and several brothers and sisters-in-law preceded in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Frieda Jaber will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, from 10 am to 12:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. The Revs. Gerald Bertsch and Martin Koehler will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
