Friedrich Bitterwolf

December 13, 1960 — February 1, 2020

Friedrich Bitterwolf, 59, passed peacefully late Saturday Morning February 1st, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born December 13th, 1960 in Esslingen, Germany to Rose and George Bitterwolf who have preceded him in death.

Following his formal schooling Friedrich undertook an apprenticeship as a tool and die maker, which he successfully completed in 1980. While employed by the company Hueller Hille, a subsidiary of Thyssen Industries, he continued his professional education and graduated with a Masters Diploma in machine construction. He continued to work for Thyssen Industries as a Project Manager until 1997, after which he accepted the position of Director of Purchasing and Customer Service with Giddings and Lewis in Detroit, Michigan. After relocating his family to Detroit in 1997, he again moved with his employer to Fond du Lac in 1999. In 2006 he assumed employment with Jorgensen Conveyors, Inc. as Business Development Manager and continued in this capacity until 2014, when he was promoted to Manager of Engineering and Product Development. As a Man of many talents, which included computer programming and repair as well as some architectural design, there were not many things he could not learn and master. His motivation and determination were limitless.

Hobbies included anything involving Formula 1 racing and he was an avid collector of racing, especially Ferrari related items. He not only enjoyed watching the races but also working and playing with his elaborate Carrera racetrack that he had built over the years to perfection. He loved anything electronically and mechanically that he could build and/or tinker with.

Friedrich also loved to travel, not only for pleasure but as well for business with colleges. He enjoyed very much being able to travel to India over the past years and the friends he made there. He loved his life and everyone who was lucky enough to share it with him. Friedrich was loved by friends and family alike and he will truly be missed and will always live on in our memories.

He is survived by his sons Florian with his significant other Ma Liezel Aranda and Julien Bitterwolf; his grandchildren, Sophia, Sebastian and Alyssa whom he loved dearly; his sisters, Roswitha Wollner, Angelika O’Connor, Bianca Hagen and Sabrina Bitterwolf; as well as his nieces and nephews Alexandra, Andreas, Adrian, Rebecca, Maximilian, Sebastian, Alexander and Lena, also Cornelia Bitterwolf who he was formerly married to.

May he rest in Peace.

A celebration of his life will take place at his residence at 304 Pheasant Ct. Fond du Lac, WI on Sunday February 16th from 11am – 6pm. Friends and family are welcome to join us in remembrance of such a great Man, Father and Friend.
