Gary F. "Wacker" Wendt

GARY F. "WACKER" WENDTGary F. "Wacker" Wendt, age 52 of 333 Garfield Street, died Wednesday at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 7,1952 at Fond du Lac the son of James and Fern Tate Wendt. On September 17, 2004, he married Rose M. Grailer. Gary was a graduate of Goodrich High School, Class of 1971. He was employed by Mercury Marine for 32 years in the distribution plant, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270. Gary enjoyed camping, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and "Floyd's Retreat" in northern Wisconsin.Survivors include his wife, Rose, of Fond du Lac, one daughter, Amy Wendt, of Theresa, two step-daughters, Rita (Kevin) Kennedy of Fond du Lac, and Sarah (Robert) Gruen of Milwaukee, one granddaughter, Ashley Jost, of Fond du Lac, one brother, James (Carol) Wendt Jr., of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Linda (Dick) Warner of North Fond du Lac and Carol (Brian) Beltz of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Mr. Gary F. "Wacker" Wendt will be on Saturday, March 19, 2005, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
