Gary Lee Richardson

Gary Lee Richardson, 57, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma cancer on January 28, 2016, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Gary was born June 11, 1958, the son of Kenneth Richardson Sr. and Irene (Crego) Richardson. On October 21, 1983, he married Cathy Ann Altman. Gary was a long time semi truck driver and had worked for Poch Trucking for many years. He enjoyed many outdoor activities with his wife, children, brothers, and sisters and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.



He is survived by his wife, Cathy; two sons, Blake (Michelle) Bodart of Fond du Lac and Adam (Samantha) Richardson of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Burgundy (Jack) Romskog of Rosendale and Bethany (fiancé, Mark Rymer) Goodwin of Van Dyne; 15 grandchildren, Dana, Damon, MacKenzie, Gavin, Madysen, Monty, Maeda, Lydia, Emma, Leighna, Mckenna, Madisen, Gabriel, Kyleigh, and Trevor. Also a heartfelt “Thank you” to a very special woman who was like a mother to him, Janice Eberhardy of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by two brothers, Michael (Deb) Richardson Sr. of Cadott and Kenneth (Brenda) Richardson Jr. of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Brenda Schuster of Princeton, Karen (Tommy) Gruetzmacher of Fond du Lac and Debbie (Mike “Dirt”) Richardson of Superior; one brother-in-law, Michael (Beverly) Altman of Plymouth; two sisters-in-law, Mary (Dick) Provo of Malone and Linda (Rick) Schneider of Ripon; nieces, nephews and his two beloved cats, Dot Kitty and Bubba. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and two uncles.



The visitation will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. At Gary’s request there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
