Gary T. OmanGary T. Oman, 76, of 474 W. Scott Street, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 8, 1930, at Two Harbors, MN, the son of Theodore and Mary Ann Kojancik Oman. He attended school in North Fond du Lac from the third grade until his graduation in 1948. On April 1, 1963, he married Stella Jacobs Miller in Waukegan, IL. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2004. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving from May 28, 1948 to May 28, 1952. Mr. Oman was employed by the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a switchman from August of 1952 until his retirement in 1990 from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the United Transportation Union. Surviving is a brother, Richard (Marlene) Oman of North Fond du Lac, two step-sons; Terry D. Miller of Fond du Lac, and Glenn (Marriania) Miller of Gig Harbor, WA, three step-daughters; Cheryl (Robert) Kuehn of Fullerton, CA, Gail Miller of Pahrump, NV, and Julea (Mark) Freed of Fond du Lac, two step-granddaughters, a step-grandson, two step-great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His parents, wife, twin brothers, Richard and Robert Oman, two stepsons, Rodney and Stanley Miller, and a sister, June Kelly, preceded him in death.



There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place with burial of cremated remains with his wife, Stella, at a later date. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
