Genevieve V. Kindness

GENEVIEVE V.KINDNESSGenevieve V. Kindness, age 88 of 55 North Portland Street, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born April 3, 1919 in Dalton, Portage County, Wisconsin the daughter of Orville and Iva Jenkins Vaughn. On September 26, 1936 she married Woodrow J. Kindness in Fond du Lac. Woodrow preceded her in death in July of 1962. Genevieve was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Fond du Lac. She enjoyed going to Disney, baking, and was a great pie maker. Genevieve enjoyed talking to people about the Bible and was a Bible study volunteer in area nursing homes.She is survived by three children, Wanda (David) Hildebrandt, Oshkosh, Thomas (Colleen) Kindness, Fond du Lac, and Bonnie Kindness of Fond du Lac. Genevieve is further survived by nine grandchildren; Todd, Tim, Stephen, Colette, Tyler, Diedre, Kevin, Janis, Nicholas, and four great-grandchildren; Matthew, Avery, Hayden, and Bradley. Her parents, husband, infant daughter, a brother, Merwin and a sister Vera preceded her in death.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 1-2 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 570 Marshall Avenue, Fond du Lac. Memorial services will be held Saturday April 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the hall with Brother Lee Washington officiating. Cremation will take place with inurnment in Ledgeview Memorial Park.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
