George H. Klein

George H. Klein, 85, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Manor Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he was a resident. He was born the son of Charles and Mabel Richards Klein on May 7, 1923 in Poy Sippi, WI. On November 29, 1946 he married Adeline M. Pickart and she preceded him in death on October 23, 1994. George served in the US Army during World War II, including Germany, Italy and France.SURVIVORS: two step-sons, Merle (Joey) Schmitz, Fond du Lac and Jerry (Marsha) Schmitz, North Fond du Lac; 11 step grandchildren; 17 step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild; two sisters; one brother; one sister-in-law; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a step-grandson, four sisters and four brothers.
