George S. Elefteriou

George S. Elefteriou, 55 of North Prairie, WI died Thursday, October 28, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fond du Lac on July 8, 1956 the son of Steve and Ariadne "Irene" Douglas Elefteriou. On July 17, 1993 he married Amy E. Van Nieuwenhuize at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Milwaukee. George worked for Don Jacob's Toyota in Milwaukee. He was an amazing musician specializing in guitar and other musical instruments. George was a lead singer in several bands, enjoyed cooking, his Harley Davidson, his children and friends were the most important part of his life.SURVIVORS: George is survived by his two children Christian S. and Alyssa C. Elefteriou both of Mukwonago. WI, one sister, Katherine (Steve) Bruton, Ventura, CA, three aunts, Bessie Doimas, Chicago, IL, Mary Hafemeister, Long Island, NY, Patricia Douglas, Fond du Lac, two uncles James Douglas, Kansas City, MO and Nick Douglas, Phoenix, AZ ,many uncles, aunts nieces, nephews and cousins. George was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Christos.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 12:00 PM t0 2:00 PM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 198 North Macy Street, Fond du Lac, WI. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Reverend Ted Trifon will officiate.
