George W. Seidler, age 88, of 389 Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, died Monday, July 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1916 in Stevens Point the son of Emil Seidler and Paulina Borchardt. George served in the United States Army from 1942-1946 and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid motorcycle, automobile, and airplane enthusiast. SURVIVORS: his children, Denise (Michael) Dewey of California, Joan Seidler of Madison, Georgina (John) Roderick of Sun Prairie, Patricia Richards (fiancé Tim Brockway) of Sheboygan, seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Amber, Aimee, Heather, Ty, Joshua, and Eric, one great-grandchild, Oliver, one sister, Mary Ann (Norman) Chupp, special nephew, John Heiman of Fond du Lac, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mary Ann, one granddaughter, Michelle, three brothers, and three sisters
At George's request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place with inurnment to be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Cemetery with the Reverend Victor Capriolo officiating. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside services. George was loving and dedicated to his family and friends.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
