Georgia Mologianes

Georgia Mologianes, 90, a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She was born August 15, 1920, in Gargaliani, Greece, the daughter of Thomas and Polyxena Doskas Mourafetis. On June 13, 1943, she married Constantine "Gus" Mologianes in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1982. Georgia was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptochos Society. Surviving is a son, James of Fond du Lac, four grandsons and a granddaughter, three sisters, Betty Manolakis of Ann Arbor, MI, Bess (Matthew) Gionis of San Diego, CA, and Eleni Maniatakis of Athens, Greece, and two brothers, John (Toula) Mourafetis of Palantine, IL and George (Irini) Mourafetis of Fildstadt, Germany. Her parents, husband, and a brother, James, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Georgia Mologianes will be on Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 11 to 12 PM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 198 N. Macy Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Saturday at the church. The Reverend Peter Pappademetriou will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.
