Gerald A. "Jerry" Testolin

Gerald A. "Jerry" Testolin, age 81, formerly of 274 Lawrence Ave, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Manor Care Nursing Home where he had been a resident for the last 13 months. He was born on July 4, 1928 in Calumetville, the son of Tony and Catherine Leib Testolin. On July 20, 1948 he married Bonnie Jean Chase in Jericho. She preceded him in death on November 15, 2008. He and his wife owned and operated Mr. Appliance in Fond du Lac for many years. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Army in the Philippines. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, deer hunting, fishing, and time with his family. SURVIVORS: Three children, Roy (Sandy) Testolin of Battle Creek, MI, Linda (Mike) Batchelder of Fond du Lac, and Jay (Tammy) Testolin of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Shawn Testolin, Nicole (Jason) Baize, Julie (Mike) Horetzki, Paul (Nicki) Batchelder, Ashley, Courtney, and Tiffany Testolin, fifteen great-grandchildren, three sisters, Armenia Rautenberg and Raye Koenigs of Fond du Lac, and Geraldine (Wally) Bargenquast of Red Granite, other relatives and friends. His parents, his wife, a son, Alan, and a brother, Donald Tischer, preceded him in death



VISITATION: Saturday, August 29, 2009 from noon to 3 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Liturgy of the Word Services for Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 3pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
