Gerald "Jerry" A. Roberts

Gerald “Jerry” A. Roberts, 77, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 of natural causes. He was born October 30, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of Charles Roy and Josephine (Jacob) Roberts. On April 4, 1959, he married Marilyn Skrove in Milwaukee. He and his wife moved from Milwaukee to Fond du Lac 22 years ago. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Jerry enjoyed making people laugh.

Surviving is his brother Greg (Linda) Roberts, son, Keith, two daughters, Kelly Roberts and Verna Laurila (fiancé Dan Hackbarth) and two grandsons, Brian and Jason Schuster. His wife and parents preceded him in death.

Visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 901 County Trunk V in Fond du Lac. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Blain officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment in Rienzi Chapel Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery will occur at a later date.
