Gerald L. Schneider

Gerald L. Schneider, 65, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living in Fond du Lac. He was born April 20, 1951 in Madison, SD, the son of Russell and Dorothy Gullickson Schneider. Gerald served in the US Navy from 1969 – 1973. He enjoyed shooting pool and darts, playing cards, bingo and the lottery, and loved spending time with his family.



He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Schneider of West Bend; three daughters, Teresa (David) Walton of North Fond du Lac, Tanya (Darrin) Peterson of Fond du Lac, and Jenny Schneider of North Fond du Lac; Jeffrey Plante of North Fond du Lac who looked up to Gerald as a father figure; four grandchildren, Dustin Hodges, Kaysie Hodges, Emily and Mason Peterson. He is further survived by one brother, John (Jan) Schneider of South Dakota; two sisters, Bonnie (Mike Ruvin) Erickson of Cedarburg and Linda (Joe) Lidington of Allenton; his ex wife and mother of his girls, Jean (Mike) Harris; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell; one sister, Connie Scott and brother-in-law, Hubert Scott.



A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services and cremation has taken place.
