Geraldine E. Andrews

Geraldine “Jerry” E. Andrews, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Artisan Memory Care. She was born November 9, 1927 in the Town of Lake, Milwaukee County, the daughter of Fredrick and Isabelle Galabinski Sampson. She graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1945. On September 17, 1949 Jerry married Elmer A. Andrews at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.



She is survived by seven children, Cathy McArthur of North Fond du Lac, Gayle (Lee) Grosenick of Sheboygan, Michael (Lisa) Andrews of Fond du Lac, Jeffrey (Bev Berndt) Andrews of Fond du Lac, Julie Andrews of Fond du Lac, Timothy (Janet) Andrews of Oshkosh, and Laura (Thomas) Reinhold of North Fond du Lac; 15 grandchildren, Justin McArthur, Sarah (Ben) Dwyer, Doran McArthur, Lori (Kevin) Krause, Traci (Mario) Martinez, Jason (Tori) Grosenick, Joe Ciepluch, Jon Ciepluch, Melissa Ciepluch, Alina (Kevin) Kraus, Stephen Andrews, Kayla (Nick) Goranson, Mitch Andrews, Alicia Reinhold, and Cassie Reinhold; six greatgrandchildren, Samantha Grosenick, Jason Grosenick Jr., Cameron Ciepluch, Rafael Martinez, Addison Dwyer, and Rudy Reinhold. She is further survived by her sister, Betty Magana of Fond du Lac; sisters-in-law, Irma Sampson of Viroqua, JoAnn Andrews of Kansas City, MO, and Jean Munson of Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Roy (Pat) Andrews of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers, Harold and Kenneth; two brothers, Bernard “Boots” Sampson and Donald Sampson; son-in-law, LeRoy McArthur; great granddaughter, Leticia Martinez; sister-in-law, Elaine Andrews; brothers-in-law, Roy Magana, Robert Andrews, and Kenneth Munson; her ex husband, Elmer Andrews; and best friends, Audre (Bud) Bostwick.



Private family services are being held at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.



The family extends a thank you to the staff of Generations Hospice and Artisan Memory Care, especially Becky, Sarah, Kimberly, Emily, Megan, Kayce, and Brenda for the care and compassion given to Jerry and her family.
