Geraldine J. "Gerry" Mangan

Geraldine "Gerry" J. Mangan, age 87, formerly of 354 North Seymour Street and a resident of Woodlands Senior Park for the past year died Friday, March 11, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Charlesburg, Calumet County on March 2, 1924 the daughter of John J. and Mary A. Hochrein Hanke. On November 16, 1946 she married Robert T. Mangan at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Robert preceded her in death on August 26,1987. Geraldine worked at Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee for 17 years retiring in 1982. She enjoyed playing sheep head, gardening, ceramics, and loved watching the birds.SURVIVORS: Survived by her sister, Rosemary Christie, Fond du Lac nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Nathan Hanke and one sister Shirley Faul.



VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2011 at Presentation Church, North Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, March 18, 2011 at Presentation Church with Reverend John Simon officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at the Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery, King, WI.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Presentation Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
