Geraldine M. Gratton, age 66 of Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born in Fond du Lac on January 28, 1942 the daughter of Nelson and Laura Schmitz Gratton. She worked in the cafeteria at St. Agnes Hospital for 41 years retiring in 2006. Geraldine was a member of Holy Family Parish and a former member of St. Louis Church. She was a member of the Van Dyne Lions Club. She was an avid follower of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed playing cards, arts and crafts, watching soap operas, and helping at Van Dyne Lions Club events.Geraldine is survived by two sisters, Orlene (Myron) Scheuers, Fond du Lac, and Eleanor "Ellie" Gratton, Fond du Lac, two sister-in-laws, Joan Gratton, Butte Des Morts, and Dale Gratton, North Syracuse, NY, and nieces and nephews. Her parents, two sisters, Irene Schneider and Genevieve Fisher, two brothers, Alvin and Vernon, two brother-in-laws, LaVerne Schneider and Lawrence Fisher, preceded her in death.



VISITATION: Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 4-8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 17, 2008 at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way. Reverend Camelo Giuffre. Entombment will at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery."Special thanks to the staff of Hospice Hope, Hospice Home of Hope, the doctors, and Geraldine's friends who provide courage, comfort to the family and to Geraldine during her illness."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
