Geraldine “Gerry” R. Kirchhoff, 81, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born July 27, 1933 on the family homestead in Township of Poy Sippi the daughter of William and Ruth Piotter Bloch. She graduated from Berlin High School Class of 1951. On November 27, 1952 she married Richard C. Kirchhoff in Berlin, WI. Geraldine worked at Robert Hall and Montgomery Ward’s, did crafts and went to craft shows for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. Geraldine enjoyed travelling, boating, camping, vacations at Pearl Lake, collecting old fashioned Santa’s and frogs, reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, her flowers and especially spending time with her family.
SURVIVORS: Geraldine is survived by her husband, Richard C. Kirchhoff, Fond du Lac, three children,; Patricia (Steven) Johnson, Fond du Lac, Steve (Cindy) Kirchhoff, Fond du Lac and Michael (Amy) Kirchhoff, Huchinson, Minnesota. She is further survived by seven grand-children; Christopher Johnson ,Kathy Kriewaldt, Amy and Sara Kirchhoff, Zachary and MaKenzie Kirchhoff and Mikayla Hansen, and one great-grandchild Kaelyx Kirchhoff, two brothers, Russell (Diane) Bloch, Berlin and Jim (Betty) Block, Berlin. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol (Ron) Pelz, two brothers, Richard and Raymond Bloch.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the hour of service. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish=Sacred Heart Church,678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
