Gladys B. Hintz

Gladys B. Hintz, 99, of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Touchstone Living Center in North Fond du Lac surrounded by family. She was born in Fond du Lac on May 4, 1916 to Mons and Gunborg (Humleker) Anderson. On August 31, 1940, she married Leslie E. Hintz in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1986.



Gladys lived her entire life in the Fond du Lac area, raising her sons, Morse and David. She will be remembered for being a loving and determined woman.



Survivors include her sons; Morse L. (Debby) and David L. (Janet) all of Three Lakes, Wis.; four grandchildren, Gregory and Leslie Hintz of Annapolis, Maryland, Andrew Hintz of Sunnyvale, Calif. And Matthew Hintz of Austin, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Dorian, Tristan and Griffin, all of Sunnyvale, Calif; a brother, Morse Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Birger; and a sister, Bertha.



VISITATION for Gladys will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Church of Our Saviour Ev. Lutheran Church, 363 S. Main St. in Fond du Lac, beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service. FUNERAL service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Matthew Agee officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery, N6101 County Trunk K in Fond du Lac.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Church of Our Savior are appreciated.
