Gladys Eleanor Euhardy

March 11, 1924 — November 20, 2008

Gladys Eleanor Euhardy, age 84 of 545 Luco Road formerly of 708 Florida Avenue, North Fond du Lac, departed this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born the daughter of John and Florence Dart Gaertig on March 11, 1924. She married Roy K. Euhardy on October 26, 1946 at Church of Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran, Fond du Lac. Gladys graduated from North Fond du Lac High School in 1942 and from St. Agnes School of Nursing in June of 1945. She was president of the North Fond du Lac Alumni Association for many years, a charter member and past president Lutheran Nurses Guild (Christian) Nurses Guild; worked for 22 years as a registered nurse at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home retiring in August of 1984; and a life time member of Church of Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran here in Fond du Lac.Gladys is survived by three children, Susan (John) Wilson, Clintonville, Kay Stubbe, Fond du Lac, and Steven (Maureen) Euhardy, Madison; six grandchildren, John (Kristi) Wilson, Clintonville, Jennifer Wilson, Wausau, Barbara (Richard) Blakely, Cottage Grove, MMC (SW/AW) Jeffrey Rice, U.S. Navy stationed at RTC, Great Lakes, IL, Michael (Gina) Euhardy, Mount Horeb, and Daniel Euhardy, Madison; seven great-grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jesse, and Jasmine Wilson, Alexis, and Alaina Uttecht, Alexander and Aaron Blakely, nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her step- mother, Beatrice, her husband Roy who died March 4, 2007, two brothers Robert and Eugene Gaertig.



VISITATION: The Family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Reverend Robert Rosenberg will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
