Gladys I. Schaub

Gladys I. Schaub, age 71 formerly of 369 Emma Street, and a resident of ManorCare Health Services for the past two years, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on September 5, 1935 the daughter of Fredrick and Loretta Wagner Rose. On November 13, 1954 she married William B. Schaub at the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Gladys was a life-long Fond du Lac resident except for 6 years when she resided in Romeoville, IL. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed traveling prior to her sickness, watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and NASCAR racing.Survivors include her husband, William B. Schaub, Fond du Lac, five children, John (Adrian Van Roy) Schaub, Appleton, Laurie Nangles, England, James Schaub, Fond du Lac, Barbara (Allen) Ditter, Menasha, Steven (Mona) Schaub, San Antonio, TX. Gladys is further survived by five grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Catherine in 1972, two sisters, Shirley Bratz and Ruth Whitty.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of Word Service will be held Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend James Jaeger officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with private family inurnment at The Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Wittt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
