Gladys M. Johnson Rein, 95 of Fond du Lac and a resident of Sterling House for the past 4 ½ years died Friday, July 25, 2014 at the facility. Gladys was born in La Crosse, WI on February 7, 1918 the daughter of Oscar and Ida L. Miller Johnson. Gladys worked at Infant Socks, Wells Manufacturing and Omar Bakery. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Gladys enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, fishing, going to the cottage and loved her dogs.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Rowland, Corona, California, two grandsons, Thomas M. Eaton and David J. Rowland and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law William Rowland, one sister, one half-sister and three brothers.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 10 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014
at 11:00 A.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Reverend Brent Naumann will officiate. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
