GLEN A. YANTZGlen A. Yantz, 89 of 469 Portage Street, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Oak Center on August 5, 1916 the son of William and Maude King Yantz. On May 22,1948 he married Evelyn I. Hackbarth. He was a graduate of Oakfield High School. Glen was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was owned and operated his own dairy farm prior to retirement. He was a member of the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. Glen enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, reading newspapers, and loved the outdoors.SURVIVORS: wife, Evelyn Yantz, Fond du Lac, a brother, Hesper Yantz, Fond du Lac and one sister-in-law, Elsie Redman, Oakfield. His parents, and one nephew, Steve Yantz, preceded him in death.
VISITATION: Sunday, October 30,2005 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday, October 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Church of Peace-United Church of Christ with Reverend Virginia Pych officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
