Glenn A. Wilderman

GLENN A. WILDERMANGlenn A. Wilderman, age 84, of 641 S. Main St, Fond du Lac, died Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on June 3, 1920 in Oakfield the son of Herman and Leola Culver Wilderman. He later moved to Fond du Lac with his family. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School, Class of 1939. He served his country from 1942 to 1946, two and a half years in Europe as a tank driver in the 14th Armored Division. He was discharged in March of 1946 and on August 17, 1946 he married Jane Hinn at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church by Reverend Pieper. He was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and a lifelong member of the Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75. SURVIVORS: his wife Jane of Fond du Lac, three children, Barbara (Derald) Sommers of Fond du Lac, twin sons, David Wilderman of Ft. Myers, FL, and Daniel (Susan) Wilderman of Waukesha, five grandchildren, Cheri (Russell) Fredrickson, Emily Wilderman, Julie (Brian) Wagner, Benjamin (Lisa) Wilderman, and Sara Wilderman, three great-grandchildren, Sam and Janie Fredrickson, and Jackson Wagner, one sister, Nellie Thill of Fond du Lac, four sisters in law, Margaret Wilderman of Fond du Lac, Ruth Graves of Fond du Lac, Eldine Willie of Fond du Lac, Dolores Hinn of Grafton, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and three brothers.



VISITATION: Monday, April 4, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend David Dolan officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside services.Memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
