Glenn E. "Gonzo" Sobotta

Glenn E. “Gonzo” Sobotta, 53, of Oakfied, died Sunday, November 2, 2014. He was born October 22, 1961, in Fond du Lac, the son of Wayne and Barbara Pitcher Sobotta. He was a 1980 graduate of Oakfield High School and was currently employed by Central Restoration of Oakfield. Glenn was a member of the Oakfield Conservation Club, and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and shooting pool.

Surviving is a son, James (Cassandra) Sobotta of Fond du Lac, a granddaughter, Alivia, also of Fond du Lac, his mother, Barbara (Special Friend Donald Parker) Conger of Okeechobee, FL, a brother, Marcus (Terry) Sobotta of Oakfield, a sister, Valerie Sobotta of McFarland, WI, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His father and a brother, Neil, preceded him in death.

Visitation for Glenn E. Sobotta will be on Friday, November 14, 2014, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Sons of Zebedee Parish-St. James Church, 101 N. Main Street, Oakfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Friday, the 14th, at 12 PM. Rev. Michael Petersen will officiate and burial of cremated remains will be in Avoca Cemetery immediately after the services. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
