Glenn K. Elmer, Sr. passed away Sunday August 10, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac at the age of 71. He was born in Beloit, WI on February 16, 1943, the son of Kenneth and Thelma (Fawcett) Elmer. On May 20, 1972 he married Joanne Cockroft in Madison, WI.
Glenn loved his family, the Packers and NASCAR. He was an entrepreneur and successfully ran his own company for decades, spending his entire career in the Tool & Die and manufacturing business. Glenn proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force prior to the Vietnam War, and was also a member of the American Legion and Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
Surviving Glenn is his wife, and soulmate of 42 years, Joanne and their five children; Tim Puckett, Tina Mata, Brian (Patti) Elmer, Terry (Jill) Puckett and Glenn (Nancy) Elmer, Jr., 12 grandchildren; Elise, Larra, Samantha, Thomas, Kelsie, Haley, Mallorie, Taylor, Elizabeth, Glenn III, Brandon, and Alyssa and 4 great-grandchildren, Xavier, Brooklynn, Jace, and Brayden. He was preceded in death by his parents.
