Gloria J. Eichman

Gloria J. Eichman, 73, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1950 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Walter and Esther (Tejeda) Eichmann. Gloria graduated from Goodrich High School in 1969. She worked for Saputo Cheese until her retirement in 2012.

Gloria enjoyed golfing, camping, cooking for others, decorating for the holidays, and an occasional casino trip. She had the biggest heart and was a very giving person. Gloria was the kindest, most generous, loving person to all the people she touched in her life. She could always be counted on when someone needed help. Gloria enjoyed life and was fun to be with.

Even though she never had children of her own, she loved children. Coming from a big family she had lots of nieces and nephews and she was a fantastic “auntie” to all. She also became “auntie” to so many of her friend’s families; not just auntie but great auntie and great great auntie, and she was so proud and close to each and every one of them.

She is survived by three siblings, Rudy Hernandez, Sophia (Wayne) Ristau, and Walter (Elizabeth) Eichmann; her best friend, Jody Tautges; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and long time friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and four brothers.

The visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
