Gloria J. Ferdinand

Gloria J. Ferdinand, 68, formerly of 629 Guinette Avenue, Fond du Lac and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past 3 ½ years, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at the home. She was born June 23, 1941 in Clintonville, WI, the daughter of Steve and Grace Johnson Bruley. She was a graduate of Goodrich High School, Class of 1959. On June 9, 1962 she married Robert H. Ferdinand at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Gloria worked at the Youth Center while in High School, McKnight's Drug, and was a secretary for Universal CIT, Kiekhafer Marine, and for a number of years at Haentze Floral. She was a member of Fond du Lac Elks Lodge Auxiliary and enjoyed volunteering locally and at the state level. Gloria enjoyed camping, golfing, crafts, and painting. SURVIVORS: her husband, Robert H. Ferdinand, Fond du Lac; one son, Eric G. Ferdinand, Fond du Lac; three grandson, Eric, Luke and Stephen, all of Fond du Lac; one sister, Judy (Marv) Fellman, Maple Grove, MN; one aunt, Evelyn Korsmo, Clintonville, WI; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Nadine; one brother, Stephen; one sister, Nancy Graybau.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 "“ 11 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Desilet officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment in All Faiths Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
