GORDON F. KOTTKEGordon F. Kottke, age 87, formerly of 309 N. Main St, Oakfield, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. He was born on June 19, 1918 in Minnesota the son of George and Ella Bethke Kottke. He was a 1937 graduate of Oakfield High School and attended Ripon College. On August 9, 1941 he married Virginia Ewald. She preceded him in death on August 22, 1995. Gordon was self-employed owning a restaurant for a few years before settling into the construction business. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. SURVIVORS: three sons, Gary (Brenda) Kottke of Broomfield, CO, Thomas (Mary) Kottke of Kernersville, NC, Michael (Mary) Kottke of Fountain Hills, AZ, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Beatrice Breister of Fond du Lac, Marcella Pfund of Waupun, one brother, James (Elsie) Kottke of Oakfield. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, two brothers, Roland and Chester, two sisters in law, Theda Kottke and Jeanette Kottke, two brothers in law, Bob Pfund and Ken Breister, one grandson, Edward Kottke.



VISITATION: Thursday, December 8, 2005 from 5-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
