Gordon G. Zoch, Sr.

Gordon G. Zoch, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in the Town of Friendship on September 30, 1929 to Lawrence and Myrtle (Werth) Zoch. On March 21, 1953, he married Marilyn Lemke in Dubuque, Iowa.



Gordon was a Locomotive Engineer for the Soo Line Railroad. In addition, he ran Zoch Auto, as well as a salvage yard.



He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; 2 sons, Gordon, Jr. (Laurie) Zoch of Fond du Lac and Dr. Thomas (Suzanne) Zoch of Neenah; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Jean (Don) Scheer; a brother, Austin Zoch; a brother-in-law, Lloyd (Betty) Lemke; and nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Myrtle; 3 brothers, Lawrence, Wesley and Claude; and two sisters, Marion Schoenfeld and Joan Koeppen.



No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
