Gordon J. "Gordy" Jagdfeld

Gordon J. "Gordie" Jagdfeld, 92, of N5964 Townline Road, Town of Lamartine, died at his residence on Thursday, December 04, 2008. He was born June 20, 1916, in the Town of Fond du Lac, the son of Nicklos and Mildred Ronan Jagdfeld. He was a member of Holy Family parish. Gordie farmed his entire life on the homestead farm. He worked as a bartender and tavern keeper, owning and operating Gordie's Wel-Kum Inn for many years. He loved to cook and was a great pig farmer. Gordie was a member of Eagles Aerie #270 for many years. Many cousins and friends, including his special friend Catherine "Kate" Voell of Fond du Lac survive him.



Visitation for Mr. Gordon J. "Gordie" Jagdfeld will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, from 9 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be at 11 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
