Grace E. Dunn

Grace. E. Dunn, age 86, of Brandon, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on March 22, 1924 in Brandon, the daughter of Carl (Charles) F. and Elsa (Elsie) C. Schade Holland. Grace served in the United States Navy WAVES from June 15, 1944 until April 17, 1946 as a storekeeper. On July 6, 1946 she married Quinn M. Dunn, her soul mate and love of her life, at Immanuel Trinity Church in Fond du Lac. Together they loved and enjoyed their grandchildren, traveling, and life on the farm. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1993. She worked for the Social Security Administration from November of 1958 until January 30, 1988. Grace was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: two children, Marsha (David) Jurgensmier of Fond du Lac, Brian (Darlene) Dunn of Oshkosh, five grandchildren, Tammy (Jeff) Kottke of Slinger, Amiee Thompson of Fond du Lac, Quinn (Amanda Bohlman) Dunn II, Cullen Dunn, and Keara Dunn all of Oshkosh, special grandson, Frank and Carrie Lueck of Eden, friend and traveling companion Norma Smit, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her sister Dorothy (George) Gjertson.



VISITATION: Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 12-2 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. FUNERAL: Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend David Pavesic officiating. Burial will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
