Gregory E. Montesa

Gregory E. Montesa, age 53, of 522 ½ South Park Avenue, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1956 in Rantoul, IL. He served in the United States Air Force. Gregory worked as a laborer on dairy farms. He enjoyed being outside gardening, yard work, motorcycling, and liked non-institutional learning. Gregory was close to his grandpa and loved being a grandpa himself.SURVIVORS: one daughter Jennifer Jones, Rib Lake, a grandson Travis of Montello, his former wife Linda Rib Lake, Fond du Lac, his step-children: Eric Meinke and family of Wausau, Roger(fiancé Michelle) Meinke, Fond du Lac, Amy Weissbuch and family of Janesville, Melvin (fiancé Anna) Schultz, Fond du Lac, and Jonathan Chvojicek, Madison. Preceding him in death was former wife Linda Jones.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 10 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Brian Hastings officiating. Cremation has taken place. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No. 75 will conduct military services.Memorials appreciated to Memorial Baptist Church or Association For Mental Illness.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
