Guy W. Stout

Guy W. Stout, 69, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St. Agnes Hospital with his family by his side. He was born August 23, 1954 in Chicago, IL, the son of William and Carol (Hatten) Stout. Guy married Jo McClanathan in Fond du Lac on May 18, 1996. 

 Guy owned and operated Brothers 2, Thirsty Whale, and Wishing Well Lounge. He retired from Mercury Marine in 2021. He enjoyed sports, watching the Blackhawks, Cubs, Bucks, Brewers, and the Packers. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandson, Simon.

 He is survived by his wife, Jo; two daughters, Monica (Joe Beesley) McClanathan and Ashly Stout; one grandson, Simon Beesley; his brother, Steven (Mary) Stout; niece, Christina Stout; a special nephew, John McClanathan; special cousins, Judy, Randy, and Karen; many brothers and sisters-in-law and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Ruby McClanathan; and favorite aunt, Aunty Shirley.

 The visitation will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
